its completely fine in moderation. like 5 minutes a day. at least for now when your little one gets to be 6 months+ use a walker and they can go for about 15 minutes then. when they get to 8 months is when you really need to start working on it. if you let them do it too much the bone becomes very weak and that is a problem that will progress into a worse problem when they are toddlers and running around playing. moderation is key.

good luck and best wishes.

WAlking whil holding on to you wont cause a problem.

Walkng that early on his own can cause the arch of his foot to not develop right. But its just how it is if he wants to walk, he will.

My brother pull himself up and walked on his own around the room holding on to furniture at 5 months. He has flat feet, and was poor coridnated because he never crawled... but he's fine. Theres nothing wrong with him now, at 16. No feet trouble, no other issues.

I walked at 8 months and my sister walked at 7 months. Nothing is wrong with us. Babies know when they are ready to walk.

It isn't very likely to cause any bone problems. That just means that he is ready to be a big boy!

If the baby wants to and you are helping...then go for it. There is no real evidence this causes problem...the only problem is if you are not paying attention and the kid falls in a well

He might have O- looking legs at first, but this will be corrected naturally after he has grown more muscle.

There is nothing dangerous about walking early

yes, it could and it could cause other problems as well. A 5-month-old child should barely be sitting up at this stage. Don't rush things!

No, as long as you hold him it's fine.
Five months is pretty early, especially for a boy. I take it as a sign of smartness. He's going to be an intelligent guy. Congratulations.
