First off, abortion has been legal in all 50 states for over 30 years.

And those same sex couples will adopt the child given birth to by your skank of a girlfriend.

BTW- The single largest group of women having abortions are practicing Roman Catholics, not exactly liberals.

Since marriage is nothing more than a legal partnership in the eyes of the law, I don't see a reason consenting adults can't make that decision. However, I don't really understand why gays insist on calling their union a "marriage" as long as they are able to get the same rights but with a different word. It seems to me that they want more than just the rights and responsibilities of marriage: they want the historic definition of marriage itself redefined, and that is really what's causing the impasse. I am not opposed to them having the rights, but it's not necessary to change the definition of marriage. How about this term instead: "Legal life partner?"

You are sorely mistaken if you believe that either of those two issues is decided. Many women and dedicated men fight battle after battle to keep every aspect of abortion a matter of free choice. There are constant elections all over the country to limit every variety of choice: from pharmacists who refuse to fill birth control prescriptions and morning after pills to a demand for parental approval for abortions before 18. Every small part of same sex marriages are being challenged in higher courts, only to be sent back down to state or district or local courts for the smallest edge in keeping the status quot. Nothing is decided.

LOL of course not!!! we have to straighten out the environment. Fix the govt sea of red ink. We have to fix social security and medicare and medicaid as well as welfare. Keep the corporations in check and spread the wealth more evenly than it is right now. We also got to fix the health care rip off system. Strengthen our civil liberties and make govt as transparent as possible. Their are many more but these will keep us busy for a long time.

Considering that most abortions are performed on women who would normally vote Dem or who generally sympathize with liberalism, such people are slowly extinguishing a future generation.

The ultimate result is that there will be fewer liberals alive, and thus fewer liberals who can vote.
