if you live in California, I would recommend the Museum of Tolerance. it walks you through the entire experience with interactive displays, videos, old propaganda posters, photographs and displays showing you exactly what everything looked like at the time.

and a really great documentary to check out, but won't teach you so much about the Holocaust is Paper Clips. you can find it at blockbuster in the special interest section.
