I would like to send my parents in Florida a plant they can plant outdoors after Christmas

Hi,
I agree with Aussie.
It would in the long run, to just have one sent to your parents from a source down there already.
It will arrive more safely and be "acclimated", to the region where it is intended to be planted.

yes because they (believe it or not) grow like crazy in the hot area like the bahamas where there is literally no snow. but make sure you send it express otherwise, it sit the post offices and die in the cold.

sure you can but it would be cheaper just to buy one in florida to plant
