I was with a guy in September, no sexual intercourse took place but we did "fool around". I have had 3 periods since that day. My cycles range from 28 - 30 days, and my period is 4 days late from the 28 days cycle, and 2 days late from the 30 day cycle.

My breasts are hurting a lot, my legs are cramping up, tiredness, and my stomach is upset. I can't go get a HPT because my parents will find out and I just rather die than have to do that - please understand (cultural differences). This has been disturbing me in my sleep...I don't know where else to turn to.

I WOULD NOT WORRY YET IF YOU ARE JUST 4 DAYS LATE. STRESS AND WORRY CAN CAUSE YOUR PERIOD TO BE LATE ALSO. AND PLEASE IF YOU ARE REMEMBER THAT YOUR PARENTS LOVE YOU AND THAT THEY WOULD NOT WANT TO SEE YOU DEAD. THERE ARE ALOT OF ORGINAZATIONS OUT THERE FOR PREGNANT WOMAN AND EVEN GIVE FREE PREGNANCY TESTS, LIKE PLANNED PARENTHOOD. THERE ARE ALSO AGENCYS THAT IF YOU ARE PREGNANT AND CHOSE TO HAVE THE BABY THAT CAN FIND A WONDERFUL HOME TO THE CHILD IF YOU CHOSE SO. GOOD LUCK. AND DONT WORRY I GOT PREGNANT AT 15 AND THOUGHT THAT MY MOM WOULD KILL ME-AFTER I GOT THE COURAGE TO TELL HER-SHE WAS MAD, BUT SHE SUPPORTED ME.

I would say you would have missed a period by then. It's pretty rare, but some women continue to have them. However, if this is the case, I think they are usually different than normal (example: lighter or fewer days). Take an at-home pregnancy test to make sure (but don't do it at home if your parents would find out, go to a friend's house or something). It's probably the stress that's making your period late. A lot of stress and changes in diet/exercise, anything like that can mess it up. I used to always be late during finals in college (if it was due at that time) and at the beginning of every fall semester, when I would return to school I would have a full period mid-cycle and one at the regular time!!!! Talk about exhaustion!!!! Your best bet is to take a test when your parents won't find out. Those tests are just as accurate as gettting one at a doctor's office. That's what my doc told me when I became pregnant with our daughter.

Have a very close friend that you know you can trust take you to a health clinic in your area if you're really that worried. They will test you for STD and Pregnancy (some other things too)...if you go there. Mostly free, they sometimes ask for a donation of a couple of bucks but if you can afford that then its free....check in your area for one! Good luck

u r probably not pregnant. u probably have a delayed period, and stressing about this isn't going to make it any better. just calm down. and get better protection so this doesn't happen again. good luck.
