did you record this in the accident book ? you should have or the person giving you first aid should hse act 1974 employer and employees responsibilities.
i expect you went to a and e, so there will be a record of what happened and how. did you take more than three days off work due the accident, the riddor should have been invoked.
this should be considered, by safety officer in your place of work, so please speak to him and tell him what you have put on here.
i know mangers sometime will not do anything about problem until they have proof, it is hard being patient about it, but please speak to some about the trouble.

You didn't say whether you wanted to stay at this job long term or not. I'm assuming you do or you would probably have not went back after getting hurt.
Go to HR (hopefully you have one) and start there. Once HR is involved, your boss will know he is being watched and usually will back off a little. And keep your nose clean. They will soon move to another person.
Oh yes, you should email your boss and acknowlege your feelings on paper. Acknowlege that it is causing you distress when other co-workers are calling names to you - (DOCUMENTATION) so when he fails to do something about it, you have documentation that proves this has been happening for awhile now.
If you don't have HR and it's a small business, you're probably out of luck. You're only option would be to contact either your local unemployment office or an attorney. Start with the unemployment office, they can let you know what your rights are as an employee working in the U.S.
Good luck to you.

Why are you back at work, should have stayed off longer. See you Doctor about the pain, he may tell you to have time off, paid. See the CAB, take the gloves (hope you kept them), get a copy of the accident report (hope you did one). Tell your boss your going to get legal advice as you do not feel you are being fairly treated (scares them) and tell your co workers to kiss your hairy behind.

You said it, stop being a victim and start standing up for yourself. People can only allow others to make their life miserable. Don't react to the name calling, you know that you had the wrong gloves on. Have you applied for workman's comp? Tell everyone thank you for the comments, and they will stop after they see that they are not affecting you anymore. I hope that your hand is better.

Make an appointment with a solicitor who specialises in employment law and cause him to record the events as they happened. Give the names of witnesses. Then contact Health and Safety and make a claim.

It is important to say what is bothering you. What kind of behavior you think is wrong. If the people do not respond appropriately you should talk to either superiors or even try legal action.
It is good to talk to someone about it that may not even know those people or at least write it down.

Contact your HR rep. That's pretty blatant harassment.
