A machine is just a machine...it's what you do with it that makes that machine a Great machine....
I had a old machine that a brough at a yard sale... for $7.00 with parts to it.... it was great
Then after using it for about 1 1/2 I thought maybe I can buy a new model... So I went to wal-mart and brought this machine that is $430.00, Boy did that machine have a lot of Stuff..... I was HAPPY!
Do you know that I still can't use those STUFF ! that i got the machine for... It was a wast of money.... All the reason that I brought the machine for was coasting me a lot of money... and I was still making the same things that I was making before and enjoyed!
That's when I reliz.................. It's.. Me! that Makes the machine, and the machine does Not Make Me,,, I should not be afride...As long as you have patient,................A sem----ripper............ and an open mind to excepting other peoples comment! Then your good to go!
If you are looking to find a Good or Great machine...
look in basic places....
*****Wal-mart
*****Target
*****Sears
*****Brands Mart ( we have them in South Florida)
Or look in the yellow pages under sewing machine or on the internet.
Remember!!!!! Start off slowly....
try making a pillow
Table Setting
Costers
Try adding Ribbins or lace an old shirt or skirt............something round the house.
Look for stones for the new pair of Jeans
Look for Irons on's for the plain while shirt......... or Bottom
Look for easy patterns like shorts or boxers
I know I love my boxers,................. and not just because I made it you know... ...........lol!
All in All look at the patterns they have some for every reason..... bed rooms bathrooms, kitchen,, dogs, cats, .......................ect.
My saying for sewing is
Every Season for a Reason!........
The season gives me a reason to try something New!

I bought a Brother sewing machine from WalMart for just over $100 a couple of years ago. It is basic, but I haven't had any problems with it.

Janome is a good reliable brand with many options at many different prices. My sister got one under $200 for her granddaughter that she just loves. In fact, we are thinking about getting one for our mother.
