i like sears... plus they have a smile savers program that if you join it waives the sitting fees for a year...

I don't take my kids to a professional studio. I like to have their pictues taken every three months because they change so fast, so I go to either Sears, JCPenney, or Target Studios. The pictures turn out just as good and I can afford to have them done more often. Quite honestly, I have a ton of pictures that are just sitting on the shelf because we can't display every picture ever taken-don't let them sucker you into buying more that you can actually use.

Here in Iowa there is a place called Flash Digital Portraits. They take the most amazing pictures and everyone is constantly asking me where we had them taken. They have locations in some other states, not sure which ones but it lists them on their website:

They also allow you to view your portraits online (as soon as you get home) and then you can share them with friends and family and if they choose to order some they can do so from the website :)

I used to go go Walmart for my boys' photos but one day was looking through the pictures and realized they all had the same one pose!!! Now I go to J C Penney's and have great pictures with a lot of poses and sometimes they even have some nice props.

I have taken my kids to Walmart, never very happy with theirs, but they are cheap....and olan mills, was VERY disappointed with theirs....and then to JcPenny. JCPenny has done a great job the two times i have taken the kids there. My favorite place was a place in germany though, when my husband was stationed there but now in the states, JCPenny does best for us!

I take my daughter to Wal-Mart for her pictures.I also go there to get my 3 step sons,family, and new baby's pictures taken there.They are cheaper and I like the way their pictures turn out.I tried Olan Mills once when my daughter was younger and really did not like that way her picture turned out at all.

We took my daughter to the Picture People once a month until she turned a year old, then once in a while. They do an excellent job.

Walmart is cheap but Kmart does an excellent job, they are higher in prices though but do better pics

I like Walmart Portriat Studios (PCA International - http://www.goportraits.com/ ). They're inexpensive and do a great job.

I like Sadies... but its not all over.... they have one here at the local mall.... the do childrens photos real cute...
