I think it's cruel; they belong in open spaces ~ they're elephants!

Elephants are a part of the circus and everyone would probably be hurt if they were not a part of it. However I only feel that they should be a part of the circus if they are treated right. If they are not treated humanly then I totally say that they need to not be a part of the circus anymore..

I do think it's cruel and the reason I'm saying that is because they do not treat their elephants, tigers, monkeys, etc. with respect. I've done much research on circuses and they haul their animals around in tiny cages, which does not allow them to move. And they also use whip lashes to train them in their acts. Circus freaks are evil and I have never been to one, nor do I ever plan on going to one. This is a form of animal cruelty and I despise those who support it.

I think it's cruel to have ANY animals in the circus. Why can't they do a whole show based on human talent? Because they're losers!!

No! Elephants are my favorite animal and I'm saying this. I've researched this topic to great lengths. In my research I have found that animal protection groups of all kinds follow circuses and watch the treatment of the animals very carefully. Believe me, these people are just waiting to hit circuses with violations. The people who train and care for the animals are animal lovers themselves. To train an elephant is not cruel. Dogs are trained, cats are trained, even monkeys in the wild are trained how to fend for themselves. And, let's not forget, humans are trained too. We're trained how to take care of ourselves, we're trained for work, we're trained in most aspects of our lives.

evaluating the college activity I worked at for 25 years and retired from and the single I even have at present working at a huge save........sure, same circus diverse clowns. I discovered my human beings skills on the previous activity and that they helpful are available in clever at this one.

YES its cruel. There shouldn't even be any circuses. Why should animals be yanked from their environment just for our hour of entertainment? Look up some of the horror stories about animal abuse pertaining to circuses.

i think that the circus shouldn't have any animals because they always look so sad and i think that they abuse them

It would be a shame with out them the ones that need to be baned are the trainers that abuse them!
