I'm sick of driving. With a telaportation machine I could live in CA and work in NY. I could go to Hawaii right now withought taking a plane. When is someone going to make this happen?

The greatest inventions were made by people who were tired of doing something the same old way. People were tired of washing dishes by hand, so they invented the dish washer.
The teleportation machine will be invented by people like you who are tired of taking time to go from place to place. You might be sitting in a physics class (or just watching star trek, i don't know) and suddenly you'll get this weird idea (the way all great inventions start) and before you know it you'll get a Nobel prize for being the first to invent a teleporting machine.
So, uh..... hurry it up, I get yelled at alot for running late for class and work....... :)

Scientists are working on it. I think they were able to do teleport an atom or something(I guess 'light' particles) couple of months back. Stick around for another 75 years to see it happen.
Take the subway untill that time :)

Well, not very soon, but people are definitely working on it.
Just FYI, scientists have been able to teleport light!
I am waiting for the teleport machine too ;)

Some scientists say that even more important than the actual cells in your body, is the information in the cells: where each cell is, all the atoms and molecules in that cell, their motion. It's a lot of information, probably more than in all the books. It's hard to transmit that much info.

There is a scientist in California who is working on this. He says it's possible.
As far as it being used, it would ruin the goods transportation business. It will never be.
