What is the easiest way, for you, to put contacts in?

i find it easier to put them on right after i shower cause everything is clean. i clean the contacts with the solution and rub for a while to make sure there's nothing on them cause that really gross plus it stings when there's anything on them. i stand in front of the bathroom mirror over the sink with the stop thingy on the sink to make sure i don't lose a contact (it's happened before). i put the contact on the tip of my index finder. i hold my eyelids open with one hand while i put in the contact with the other. i always look up first as i put it in and then close my eyes and move my eyes around.

Do it in front of a mirror so your eyes have something to focus on - not your finger coming at your eye! Then, what I do is put the contact on my right hand index finger, then with my middle finger I pull my bottom eyelid down and put it in. Continue to look straight ahead and blink a few times. Sometimes, when my eyes are extra dry I put i drop of solution on the contact while it is on my index finger. Good luck!

ok, when i first got contacts i had a diffucult time finding the easiest way to put them in. i have soft lenses, so i take the tip of my finger and make sure it is soaked in the solution (really wet) then i let it stick between my pointer and middle finger of my right hand just on the tip of both fingers. i use my other hand to hold my eye wide open and let the contact,fall, on my eye. then using my pointer and index finger i press really light to bend down the sides and i b;link 2 or 3 times it goes right in place.

Put the contact lense on your right index fingertip. Wipe dry your left hand thumb and index finger and use these fingers to hold your eyelids open, then put in the lense with the right index finger which is still holding the lense. Repeat for the left eye.

in the beginening it is hard but by the days you will be used to

please try to follow the tips mentioned below :


> Make sure your hands are clean.
> Place the lense on your finger tip, be sure that your finger tip is not much wet, becaue if it is too wet often the lense keep stck to
it and dont stcks with the eye immediately.
> Open your eyes wide
> Now stare at a distant object while putting the lense in your eye.
> When it is exactly at the center of your vision field, dont blick and put it in.
(For right eye lift your eye lid with your left hand and vice versa)

Usually what I do is, get one hand to hold my contact and the other hand to pull down my bottom eye lid and put the contact from the bottom of my eye and once the contact sticks to my eye, i slide it in position. IF your having trouble blinking that will take time and practice.

I just hold my upper & lower eye lids open with one hand and put the contact on my pointer finger and pop it in my eye usually I do this in front of my lighted makeup mirror and use the magnified side, easier to see.

well my eye doctor thinks im an expert at putting my contacts in.:
-wash ur hands
-take your contact with your right hand and put it on your index finger
-take your left arm over your head, and hold your eyelid. (if you know what i mean)
- then look up and put it in your eye
- if it feels like your contact is not quite in take your eyelid and stretch it over your ey and then blink and roll your eye if needed.
-repeat process with left eye as well.

for the right eye:

middle finger on RIGHT HAND pulls lower eyelid DOWN.

middle finger on LEFT HAND pulls upper eyelid UP.

index finger on RIGHT HAND has the contact on it and inserts it.


look in the mirror, straight at the contact. easier to keep control that way.

i wanna know the same thing cause i have trouble putting in mine. Wat i did tho is hold my head up so i dont have to look down. But its so hard to kep ur eyes open!!
