Is anything significant going to happen. I doubt it. 1. His brother (whats his name) is going to take over 2. Cubans are too cowards to do anyting. So to me nothing really is going to change. So why are Cubans so looking forward to his death.

I strongly believe that when Fidel leaves this world - the citizens of Cuba will stand up to their existing government and demand to do away with communist control - They will ask for support from the US and the United nations - The Cuban people will establish a democratic government and welcome the USA back into this beautiful country - The Big Resorts will move in employment will increase dramatically - Cuba will become a world play area and it will flourish among the worlds nations -
the Cubans in Florida will start to return home to their native country and start to rebuild. The US will play a large roll in the development of the New Cuba -

The entire Cuban community of Miami will fire up their yachts and cruise back over, expecting to regain control of their (or their grandparents') old estates.
For the average Cuban, things will improve little or not at all once capitalism returns to Cuba. The ony difference is they'll have more fast-food.

They say Raul (castros brother is gay and softer than fidel) I believe this is true..when castro dies cubans will party everywhere....boats will swarm to cuba and Raul will be overthrown....just wait and see :)

They'll probably go in to a democracy and the US will be first to welcome that and then we'll have a trade agreement with Cuba for the first time. We will make them take down that stupid fence they have in Cuba but not the one near GITMO.
