Never be ashamed of anything that makes you happy. You don't have to announce it to the world, but if someone asks, don't hide it. And as for your girlfriend, all couples should have different interest. It's perfectly OK for you to like something she doesn't and vise verse....but it isn't OK for her to make fun of you. You need to let her know that it bothers you when she makes fun of your interest. Explain that you wouldn't do that to her and you think she should care enough for your feelings to treat you with the same respect. And anyone else who is mean to you because of this isn't someone you want for a friend anyway!

If you have to hide an aspect of yourself from a girl, the girl is a moron. Move on.
Granted, wrestling isn't the most respected form of entertainment in the world (thanks to McMahon and his storylines), but it's nothing to be ashamed of. Be who you are, and to hell with whoever doesn't like it. You will be a much happier person in the long run.
I am in a very happy relationship with a girl who goes to shows with me throughout PA, NJ and NY, and she loves it.
Find a girl who you can have fun with, not that you have to impress. Kick the prissy chick to the gutter.
