I just had to learn all this stuff as my wife and I are trying to have a baby.

On average, a woman ovulates about 12-17 days after her period, and the egg last 24 hours. Sperm can last 72 hours. And, with pregnancy tests, you have to wait until a day before, or several days after your expected period for them to work, as it takes time for the hormones to build.

So, very very slim chance, you probably just started your period, and a pregancy test right now would be negative for sure and you would definitely not show any signs that soon. Evvery woman is different, but I really wouldn't worry that much.

You already said that you period will come for this days, right?, if that's true you should't be worried because you weren't in your fertiles days, (your fertiles days start the 14th day after your period started) besides you had a bleeding. But if your not completely sure, you can take an emergency pills (only you can take them before 72 hours after the relation, that means that you have only 3 days to take them) but you don't have to abusse them, this pills only can take twice a year whith 6 months of sepration. Good luck and take care! ;)

You could not possibly be having a symptom of pregnancy after less than 24 hours. Not physically possible. The chances of you becoming pregnant, at the end of your cycle (when you aren't fertile), and he wasn't inside of you are so small it isn't worth worrying about -- I'd say impossible, but never say never.
Anyway, use protection and stay safe, but you aren't pregnant.

There's always a chance of getting pregnant because there is no 100% effective form of birth control except abstainence.

Doctor's can not predict when a woman will or won't ovulate with 100% certainty either. They use a formula but it is not accurate or foolproof.

The morning after pill can be used for 72 hours after a suspected incident and can be bought over the counter for 25pounds in a pharmacy or for free with your doctor or family planning clinic.
it is worth it for peace of mind

Calm down, if you were so close to the start of the period AND if you are sure of that, then there will be no chance of conception because your ovum died about 10-15 days ago.
The slight bleed was 'spotting', indicating that the period is starting.

Im not sure that I read your question right, you did not have intercourse? If you didnt then theres a slim chance you might not become pregnant. Maybe you need to talk to someone about sex and how babies are made.

There is always a chance of you getting pregnant. You can even be having periods and pregnant. (although rare).

The morning after pill is the way to go now. Good luck.

There is no chance you are pregnant!!

You ovulate on days 14-17 - so you are no where near to those days, so no chance you'll be pregnant!!

You can sit back and relax now!! hehe!!
