First of all, it's spelled "Special Case." Second of all, you're an anti-semite bigot. Just because there have been other atrocities like those of Stalin, Pol Pot, Hussein, Rwanda, Darfur, etc. Does NOT lessen the impact and tragedy of Hitler's attempted mass extermination of the Jews. You forget what a small percentage of the World population is Jewish, thus, the six million killed by the Nazis was an astounding proportion of their whole race. Also, it hasn't been that long ago, only 60 years, which is barely two generations.
And calling one of the most despicable events in mankind's history a "Hollow cause" only shows your ingnorance and anger. I'm guessing that, like pre WWII Germany, things in your life suck and you are looking for a someone to blame.

you could not be more prejudiced if you tried (not to say anti Semitic..)
Just because humans have done many.. many atrocious things all through history does not mean that the holocaust or the cruzades, or any genocide for that matter, is worthless...
what? should we just sit and go "hey, get used to it, people will just keep killing us, that's human nature.. not where do you want me?" come on..

Now, if you really need a reason why people are still talking about it, here goes:
- This happened 60 years ago, in Europe none less. And the objective of Hitler's movement was simply to "clean" Europe, to get rid of all jews, homosexials, gypsys, comunists, and anyone who was not caucasian or of the "arian race".. if there is such a thing..
- Till today there are people (lets begin with the president of Iran) that say the Holocaust is a Myth. The survivors telling their stories and the pictures, and the camps are not enough apparently..
- today there are plenty neo nazi movements that have the same ideas, or even worse, and keep growing.
and not to mention several attacks towards jewish establishments, even terrorist as in Argentina, where in 92 and 94 the Israel Embassy and the Argentine-Israel mutual where both destroyed by terrosist attacks.

Only if we Christians can milk it too. I am fed up with it. In the case where the Rabi threatened to sue the Seattle airport who had only Christmas trees up if they did not set up a minora...find, I will no longer watch a "hallow cost" documentary unless Christians and others are noted as well... Also, note that the 2 million muslims killed in bosnia were due to bin laden and florin krisniqi the KLA leader hiding amongst normal citizens. The serbs had been attacked by muslims for years...milosevic finally got tired of it. 1 million Christians were murdered by Turkish muslims in armenia , yet we do not milk that...further more until very very recently, Christians, Muslims, and the "others" who died at Aushwitz were NOT allowed to place a memorial..ONLY THE JEWS....maybe now there are memorials... sounds like anti Christian and anti semit-ism on the part of Jews....(anti semit against muslims)...maybe there is some reason why people make fun of them....

Have you got a problem with the Jewish people? Where is your evidence that there milking past persecution ? Yes Millions of Christians and Muslims have been murdered and still are in some parts of the world. But anti semitism still exists Islamic extremists are given it oxygen as are misguided left wingers in the case of Israel and we still have fascist Holocaust deniers . I don't see any evidence that Jews consider themselves a special case. So my question is what is your motivation for asking such a question?

Why don't you learn your facts first, friend! It is 'holocaust', 10 millions and Hitler, not Stalin. By this you are showing that you are indeed very articulate, very cunny and very knowledgeable and a good milker of events in the by-gone era! May you rest in peace, after doing such an excellent accomplishment!

I'm not Jewish, christian or Muslim! But why does it bother you? Its unspeakably awful what one human being does to another human being in the name of religion, but why do you feel you have to devalue the pain and suffering a generation suffered just because a different group of people suffered the same fate?

It clearly shows that you have no understanding whatsoever what the Christians or the Jews had to suffer. As one human being to another, I hope you never do.

At the end of the day your question emphasises your own disregard for your fellow man and shows your ignorance.

And the Christians murdered millions upon millions of people in their crusades and the Burning Times. Kill or convert. Don't forget that.
