Sounds horrible, but my pets are my kids.

It depends. Killing anything is not right and it will definitely land you in jail, which is not someplace I ever want to go, let alone even visit. On the other hand, my pets are my family. I don't have kids (not the human kind at least) so my pets are everything to me. I think maternal instinct might kick in, and I would do whatever it took to save my babies!

My three dogs are my best friends,they are always there for me,so I sure would fight until the end if someone would try to hurt my animals,killing,I don't know,if there would be no other way to save them,yes I think I would kill to save their lives,but it is a horrible imagination,isn't it?

Okay first off I don't think I could kill the person who was attacking my animal but I would do everything in my power to guarantee my pet's life would not be hurt. My animals are my life and I know they would do the same if someone was hurting me.

Considering that my pets are sentrys, yes, I would. If someone was to inflict damage on my dog, the only logical reason for that would be to bypass him in order to cause harm to come to me or my family. In such a case I would have no choice but to disable the perpetrator by whatever means necessary. In addition, my dog (a 200+ lb wolf hybrid) is like a child to me and I would do whatever it took to ensure his safety as well as my family's.

No, I wouldn't. It's a definite murder charge in almost every country.
Not that I would advocate this, but to reverse the situation, if you had to kill a pet to save a human? (Dog attack or something) - the law is on your side.

No. While I love all my pets, they are still just that, pets. I own them, they are not my equal. I would protect them in as much as I can, however I would not kill for them.

it depends who the person was. if it was some sicko murderer, then yes! but if it was my best friend then i would have to think. i know pets are family, but humans also have a right to live, besides the fact that humans can do alot more with their lives than animals.

If I had no choice, then I would, and I know my K-9 would also kill someone to save me, without question..

I think it would depend on who I had to kill to save them...
I don't know, there a few people who I hate, that the world wouldn't miss too much if they were to suddenly disappear.
I probably wouldn't, but you never know...

Absolutely not!
My pet and I are wonderful friends, she is very loyal to me, and I love her VERY, VERY much. However, if it was a matter of her life or a humans, I would give up hers. I would NOT become a murderer so that my pet could live. And I mean, it doesn't matter if it was just a random person, or my best friend. I would NOT become a murderer so that my pet could live. An animals life is not NEARLY as valued as a humans.
