You can make it as hard or as simple as you like [and you don't have to be crafty] for me the photos are the central theme i like those pages that people who go to a heck of a lot of time and trouble to make.... those arty type scrapbooks but hey where is the photo??? it seems to get lost in all that stuff while pretty.... for me its the photo I don't spend a lot I made one for my dad about his hobby.... cake decorating it was about 10 pages ... by the way i rarely buy the 'book' to put the pages in till im finished i got this box thing i can put my finished pages in to keep them safe till i buy the album [which can be expensive] A kit is the way to go but is it the right one for you?? Pick a 'theme' and go from there

It's easy in a sense. It can be costly-- buying the paper, the book itself, scissors, special glue, stickers, special markers and pens, borders, and making copies of your pictures. It takes great imagination. You don't need to be crafty, but you do need to have an imagination.
Hallmark sold premade scrapbooks last Christmas that you just had to slide the pictures into. It's a bit of a cop-out, but if you want something easy, it would be best.

It is only has hard as you want to make. I scrapbook and some of the easiest pages to do turned out to be the cutest. The only advice I can give is to keep it simple. Don't try to put to much on a page. I makes it look clutter. You want to make the pictures the spotlight not the decorations.

Depends on the materials you have and what you want to do with it. The kit should help quite a bit. Some page/picture ideas will jump right out at you, and then other times, youll look at a picture thinking 'what am I going to do with this???' Once you get the hang of it and find your style its fairly easy.

I think using a kit is the right way to go for someone who has limited or no experience. Keep in mind that simple is more. Use your photographs as inspiration. Try to have fun with it. If you don't, you won't be happy with your results.

it's hard, it takes a TON of patience (not to mention, money) and you'll have to put a lot of effort into it for it to look atleast decent. trust me, it's hard.
