It may be a TV movie - the guy builds himself a narrow corridor/false walls in a house that he hides behind to stalk this woman. Probably 80s schlock, and pretty silly, but some striking aspects to the plot.

It sounds like 'Hider in the house', definitely 80's schlock but I remember it freaking me out - typically watching it with my cousin after being told by Ma not to!

OOOh I think I know the 1 your talking about, I think the guy is him that was in stargate the series, he also played guidiva(not sure how u spell it, never watched it) can't remember the exact name of the film but if u find out the name of the guy just type it into a search bar and it should come up with it. That was a good film.

It was definitely Hider in the House starring Gary Busey and Mimi Rogers.
It might be 80's schlock but it entertained me !

this is not so much about a stalker living within the walls but more of a couple of children. it woud take ages to explain but if you get a chance to watch it, do. it is called the children beneath the stairs, made in the 80's but would scare you no end.

Maybe this is it ABC Television ran a movie in 1974 called "Bad Ronald". In it, Ronald *Scott Jacoby* was a teenage "nerd"..always picked on, beat up, no girlgriend, etc. One day, he strangled this girl he asked out because she basically laughed in her face. His paranoid, weird mother hid in in this abandoned house to hide him from the police. Time passed and this family *mom, dad and two young daughters* moved in..prob was Ronald never moved out! He lived hidden in the basement and started looking in on the daughters though holes he cut into the walls. Maybe this is it..that movie scared the bejeezus out of me. I was at Screamfest 2006 in Orlando and one of the dealers had it on VHS...started the nightmares all over again

Hider in the house, with Gary Busey the guy that played Buddy holly in "The Buddy Holly Story" also his son plays creepy rolls aswell he was the guy with the bomb in "Contact"

remember the film but not the title. Its still out for rental so go to your local video hire shop and look round the shelves of the oldie films. Was it Gary ? who played the part?

Yeah, a nerdy kid looking through peep holes he drilled in the walls to check out the teen girl daughter.... can't recall the title though....sorry. I think he dies in the end and the girl feels sorry for him
