13, at least for makeup and nails, 16 for mini skirts.

Little girls don't need to dress up like teens or adults. All that does is encourage sexual attention from older guys. I can't imagine allowing my daughter to be the focus of some pedophile.

I was about 12 or so when I started wearing makeup. Where I used to live, acrylic nails were only for proms, weddings, etc--too expensive. So when I moved, I got my first set (age 18). I would almost always suggest a skirt that's half an inch above the knee at the most--anything shorter than that looks so disproportionate. If you're petite though, a shorter skirt might be a necessity to get the right length.

My mother was the one who set the limits. Fathers don't wear makeup, and therefore shouldn't be the ones setting the rules. Why so many do is beyond me.

My first child isn't due until February, but I suppose I'll allow her to wear makeup in highschool, so probably age 14 or 15. As far as those tiny skirts, I don't know that I'll ever "allow" that! LOL! And if her father has any say, I doubt she'll EVER be wearing anything tiny. :)

Well...
makeup is bad for ur skin!!!!!! hahaha if they start young, who knows they may be damaging it forever!!
haha i say for makeup, lipgloss at about 12, eyeshadow 14, the rest 18 or so when they're old enough
Nails, if just nail polish 12 is okay. Acrylic nails also 18.
And as for skirts... haha 18 i guess when they're old enough... LOL

I think they should be 15-16. Any younger than that they are asking to be looked at by older guys. Sometimes that's not good because there are perverts out there. Now a days, girls are trying to look older to get older guys attention because the kids their own age might be to immature for them.

The way my sisters and I were raised (and the way I will raise my daughter), we were allowed to shave our legs at thirteen, minimal make-up at fourteen, our preference in make-up at fifteen. If we chose to wear a 'mini' skirt, we had to wear a pair of shorts underneath, even around the house. As far as acrylic nails, that wasn't of interest to us, but I don't think those are as bad as the other stuff mentioned.

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I would say 13 to 15 at the earliest. I know kids are "growing up" much earlier these days, but kids still need "kid-time". I sure hope this trend changes soon, for their sake. By the time they are really grown up, they'll be tired of it.
