Christmas for my 5 year old son. I don't have a cent to my name right now and every where I went has turned me down to get help for him by either saying it was too late or my hubby made $10 dollars over the income level. We were supposed to move into a new apartment on the first, but the land lord kept our money and never gave us the apartment, so we were forced to move in with my parents who are retired in a little two bedroom house they have. My husband and I sleep on the couch for now until we can save enough to find another apartment. We went from 2 incomes down to one of $300.00 a week. The land lord kept our $2400.00 dollars so we filed court to get the money back and who knows how long that will be. My wish for Christmas is for a Christmas for my son... but with not a penny to our names now I don't know if that will happen at all.

Right now, I am wishing that I could spend Christmas in my own home with just me, my husband, and 2 boys on Christmas morning. But, we have to travel for 7-8 hours to my grandparents house, b/c I know if I don't go and something happens to them I will never forgive myself and neither would my parents, and with good reason!

I just want to make it from Oklahoma to Indiana ok to spend the holidays with my family.
Its a 630 mile trip and I am 19, this is the first year I will be making the trip by myself (not counting my dog, she is coming too) and everyone in my family is nervous.
But I have to do it someday, and its not like I am getting any bigger to fend off any predators. So wish me good luck and "pray" for me in any style or religion befitting you.

This is the 1st Christmas that both my mom and dad will be spending without their dads (my grandpa's). They both died this year a couple months apart. And all i want for Christmas is for my mom and dad not to be sad.
