Absolutely, cause that is what they need. They are usually very lonely and unhappy with their lives and feel unloved... even if they are not a hugging type or touching type... I would wrap my arms around them and give them a big hug.... kiss their cheek and tell them they are special.... Some people are this way to get attention, some do it to keep anyone from entering their circle and not letting anyone hurt them... cause 9 out of 10 of them are hurting about something.
Hug, squeeze and kiss... Yahoo......Do it twice if it feels good....don't stop, they will eventually join in under muttering and complaining... but they love it...

I hate it when someone tries to hug me and I'm grumpy. Then again, I hate hugs all together.

Yes and it usually works to comfort and soothe them. And that's not just because of my warm, cushy bosoms neither.
