AMD stands for Advanced Micro Devices. It is the name of a company that manufactures CPU's.
The AMD Turion is the name of a processor you find in laptops.
Intel is a different company that manufactures processors. Intel and AMD are each other's biggest rivals.
Pentium M and Centrino are Intel CPU's found in laptops. While both AMD and Intel have offered dual-core CPU's they have used different names for them: Intel uses Core Duo while AMD uses X2.

Turion is one of AMD's central processing units for laptops. It supports 32 and 64 bit Windows.

It is not the same as Intel, different architectures, but it is "the same" in that they M and Centrino are for laptops.

AMD is a type of company that makes processors that ARE better than Intels beacause they run at a cooler temp and arent lagged as much if you have bad RAM
