Is so, be sure to go see Eragon, opening in the US today. I've heard rumor that if Eragon does well, we get Dragonlance. Let's prove fantasy can sell!

It is being made into a movie, in fact, it's being filmed now, and it's called Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight.

Some of the actors are:
Michael Rosenbaum
Kiefer Sutherland
Lucy Lawless

Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight is set to be the first worldwide theatrical movie release based on the Dragonlance campaign setting of Dungeons & Dragons. The first ever novel in the setting, Dragons of Autumn Twilight by co-creators Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, is the basis for the movie. The screenplay adaptation is being handled by George Strayton, with creative assistance by Weis and Hickman, and Will Meugniot is directing. The movie will be animated and is being distributed by Paramount Pictures.

Yes, I would love it. Just hope it's done right and not cheesy. Write a great script and hire good actors, and don't skimp on the visual effects.
