It might make you uncomfortable for a while but the good thing is unlike other things you can choke on your body temp. will melt it.
The hole in the middle thing, never thought of that very clever. I am going to give you a thumbs up.
Still for small children breaking it up first might be best

yes! My son got one stuck in his throat he started turning blue oh my Gosh! I panicked an put my finger down his throat to shove it through , the doc said even though it has a hole in it it can still Lodge and kill you. So I do believe it Can Kill you. hope this helps , and hope no one has choked on it, kids cant have hard candys till they are 6 years old. this ways they for sure chew the candy, littler kids usually just swallow it.

well they might be able to breath out of the hole in the center, but that would be quite ironic, so much for life savors

YES!!! my sister almost choked and died on a chicken wing, and we had to go to the emergency room,last period i choked on AIR!!! so yes, u can choke on a lifesavor.

nope thats why they call it a lifesaver. if you choke on it, the hole in the middle allows to breathe and it saves your life!
