My husband and I are moving to Colorado in like a week and at first I was really excited and everything but now I am letting the anxiety catch up with me and i feel terrible.... I read on a few websites that when you get there you cannot breathe and that has be scared to death. We are moving to Co from Ohio .... So i'm not used to high elevations.... any responses would be great... thanks.

Don't worry at all. You're only going to notice it if:
1. You are REALLY sick with a respiratory illness or
2. You're having a real extreme workout
and then all you have to do is calm down and let your breathing return to normal.
In a few weeks your body will grow adjusted to the Colorado altitude and it will be no different than living in Ohio. Trust me of all the things of a big move to worry about this is not the one.

It's not hard to breathe, unless you're doing strenuous activity, such as sports.
Altitude sickness (headache & stomachache) is something to worry about: drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol and dehydration.
Denver itself is polluted, so the air quality is bad. Outside of Denver is fine. Air is crisp and clean. I moved from Missouri to Westminster, CO. I ended up w/ a respiratory infection that lasted a month. I tried playing softball, but was winded every game. However, on my brief weekend visits there before the move, I was fine, w/ the exception of getting a headache.
Just take it easy, get some vitamins, drink water and you'll be fine.

No not unless you are out of shape and end up over 9 or 10, 000 foot altitude. Most of Colorado will be fine. Some resorts are at altitude but just take it easy and don't over exert yourself. Your able to breathe ok, you'll just get winded easier at altitude.
