Isn't the percentage the US is supposed to pay based on their wealth? Doesn't the UN spend most of its money on the US?

Why do you think that "Without the US, the UN would not exist?"

Maybe if they paid all their parking tickets we might be able to find some money for dues. Maybe if countries with 2-4 times our population paid something proportional then our dues wouldn't be so high. Maybe if countries like Germany and Japan, who's economies are in the same order of magnitude as ours paid something proportional then our burden wouldn't be so great. Maybe if the organization wasn't a useless forum for bashing the US and an utter failure we wouldn't resent giving them our money.

The US already spends more on the global stage than anyone. If we're behind on our dues, maybe we can just mark it against all the parking fines owed to NY from foreign delegates, or maybe we can take it against the loans to other countries that are in default.
The UN is a sorry joke. It's worthless. And we should charge rent for having it on our soil.

I say the US can pay the UN dues when all the UN people pay their water bills, unpaid parking tickets and anything else they've decided to not pay for all these years.
Personally, I think the US should tell the UN to go set up shop somewhere else, try France.

We pay far more than our share. We don't have 1/4 of all the wealth in the world. The UN is hostile to us. We should resign & boot them out of our country.

Yes, the US should be receiving dues from the UN for allowing them to pretend to conduct business on our soil. Without the US, the UN would not exist.

It is okay because we placed the money in a trust account that would be released when the UN enacted accounting practices that would allow us to figure out what they are spending the money on.
The who issue was not about us not paying our share - it was the inability of the UN to account for the money.

As long you do your part for the good of mankind in planet of apes.
After all the hard work with blood, sweat and tears for the liberation of Freedom back in world war two for their young ones to exist in planet of apes.
Now do we understand why those children out there living in misery expose "The Elders were rude! Children behave with self lack of knowledge " in planet of apes.

i feel this way because the us is way full of itself and is acting like god. i think its really weird that a country thats so phsyced about god and his ways should forget about him in politics dncha think? the best years of the us are passing, its prime is over, people are gonna wake up to the fact that something needs to be done.
i love many things about the usa, but when it comes to politics there's not a single worse country out there.
