I don't think you have the whole story. A particular ethnic group cannot be banned from entering a legitimate business in the USA. Illegals can be banned from working in a business in the USA. Being anti-illegals and being a racist are not the same thing!

FYI dose is a measured amount of a product, as in a dose of medicine. The word you want here is DOES.

I believe (others agree) that we should be able to ban ILLEGAL immigrants from places. Come back when you are LEGALLY in this country and you will get in. But, that is NOT the American way. ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION is a hot topic in our country today, and it should be. ILLEGAL means ILLEGAL. If I did something ILLEGAL, I would be punished for it. As far as a restaurant (or any business) not allowing Mexicans in...that sounds like descrimination. Mexicans across the board are not necessarily ILLEGAL. If the restaurant is saying NO MEXICANS, there is certainly a law suit there. If they are talking ILLEGAL immigrants, how are they to determine if someone is illegal or not? These people don't walk around carrying their papers, I don't believe. My opinion is that they are setting themselves up for litigation...and will not win.

If this really happened then it's probably for the reason Suzane said. If this restaurant really did say they are not allowing Mexicans to even enter why don't you go public with it and reveal the name and the owner's name.

My brother is a political activist AND lives in Ohio AND happens to be part Mexican --I'm sure he would relish the opportunity to challenge these fools!

By the way, Deny's got themselves into a ton of crap in the 1990's when one of their restaurants refused to serve Black people!
Like I said, go public with this. I guarantee you the owners will be sorry they used their business to back up their racist beliefs!

I gotta say that comprehend thoroughly. i have were given a pal who replaced into stepping right into a convenience save minding his own employer at the same time as an uninsured, unlicensed unlawful motorist drove into him and the save he replaced into stepping into. Now he ought to to bypass to the Dr. once a month to have fluid drained from his spinal twine. no one will employ him even even with the reality that he's keen to signal a workman's comp waiver with a view to artwork. coverage organizations received't insure him. he's forced to be on social protection and in no way even getting adequate to help his relations a lot less pay his loan. He would a lot particularly be operating. This state is a 'no fault' state and the guy who hit him and the save were given a $40 5 positive from a decide who reported there replaced into no longer something else he ought to do.

If they're here legally, it's a civil rights violation and the resturaunt can't do it. If the resturaunt is denying illegals (how would they determine that) then I suppose it's their right to take a stance against illegal immigration in their own business. Denying people service solely on the basis of race is highly illegal.

Discrimination is against the law because there must be equality wherein people similarly situated must be provided with the same rights. A restaurant must not prohibit a certain group of people from patronizing its services and products.

No business can discriminate against anyone because of their race, color, gender, age, creed, beliefs, and even if the Mexican happens to be legal or illegal, this business cannot do that, and can get sued, and will lose.

While they do have the right to refuse service to anyone, they cannot ban a whole race. It's most definitely against the law.

i think a business can do that. that is so dumb. why do people have to act like that anyway. who cares what race you are. if you are a respectable person and pay for products or services rendered it shouldn't matter.

you should get some friends together and protest. call the local news. shut the dumb business down! maybe also post some bulletins on myspace lol

Ha. This is funny. This is soooo racist. You cannot bar a Mexican if it is a public restaurant. Do they realize there are Mexicans who are American citizens. Call your local ALCU and let them know this is happening. I can guarantee that they will either start letting everyone in or close down.
