Technically, yes. It is the tennant's property and he is renting it to someone under his terms and conditions. So yes, he can say someone cannot visit the property

If you have a lease, it would say something in there but should be specific with the terms and conditions. If this person is a threat then he probably can. But sounds like the landlord is trying being controlling. I'd move.

The landlord cannot prohibit a person from visiting a tenant because the latter has control on this matter. By allowing the tenant to use his property, he cannot prohibit a person to visit him.

Yep Im a landlord and we can do anything we want love the power only joking it depends on what is in your lease and obviously if their is a restraining order then that person wouldn't be allowed

when paying rent you have the right to have anyone at your place , unless the person has caused damage to your rented home or caused a disturbance there
