Grand Canyon on the land. but if your talking about the ocean its probably the Marinannas Trench in the Pacific.. although they have probably found more deep areas with the newer subs and depth finders.

There isn't a hole in the earth at all or else you wold be able to see through it like Swiss cheese. Perhaps you meant to say crater?
