Hmmm, well sweating is what causes an odor because the combination of the dampness of the sweat and the heat and darkness of the crease of your armpit cause bacteria (and bacteria is the odor-producing agent). Thus, if you perspire a lot, try wiping off your underarms with warm water and soap; this will hopefully kill the bacteria and keep any odor down. Be sure to dry your armpits completely though -- any wetness (even just from water) will promote an odor if it's left long enough.
Another option depends on what you're wearing today. If you're wearing a blazer or something with a pretty thick material, try folding up a paper towel or tissue, and use tape to adhere it to the inside of your shirt. This will block any sweat stains from your shirt. If you have some perfume in your pocket book, maybe spray a little of that on the paper towels for good measure.
Another option is to just avoid sweat-invoking activities. Don't run, don't go into areas of your workplace that are hot, don't eat hot foods, etc.
If all these things aren't enough and you DO sweat and you have a wet mark on your shirt, try using one of those hand-dryers in the bathroom (if you have one), and if not, use a non-linty cloth or paper to blot it dry.
Don't worry though even if nothing works and you DO sweat -- everyone has had times when their deodorant gives out or they've forgotten too, etc., so I doubt anyone would think negatively of you for it.
I hope this is helpful and good luck today! :)

You didn't say where you work....is there a kitchen where you work?....if so, see if there's any baking soda around....you can dust some under your arms...that will help. If you can, stop in somewhere quickly on your way to the day care and get some deodorant....or you could just wash in the bathroom before you go.

when you get a chance, run to the bathroom and wet some papertowels (or toilet paper if they dont have any) and add a drop of soap, then wipe down. make sure to "rinse" with a papertowel with water and no soap.
other than that, just keep cool, dont over exert, and if you're at school, see if you best friend might have some they are willing to let you share :)

Don't exert yourself so that you don't sweat. I keep a little sample size deo in my desk for just such occsions. You could periodically blot your pits with the paper towels in the bathroom.

take some paper towels and blot them under your arms. then get some semi-scented lotion and dab just a bit under your arms. that happened to me once after going to the gym and taking a shower. it was really hot outside but if you try and stay cool it can work ok.

Always keep a deo stick in your handbag and one at your office drawer for such days. It works brilliantly.
