Why doesnt that seem to matter anymore? It does to me

Several hundred coalition troops daily scour the hills, mountains and caves of east Afghanistan hunting down the son-of-a-pig. It matters.

Where is he? My best guess - he's somewhere in that long tip at the north-eastern end of Afghanistan; a cave with a tunnel he can use to scurry over into Pakistan if they get too close. He probably has a bunch of "safe houses" just over the border there and we can't search because the Pakistan government witholds its permission, saying only its troops have that right and duty. How hard are they searching? Probably not very. After all, they're Muslim too, ya know, and Osama bin Boo-Boo's Saudi relatives are almost certainly shelling out bribes in quantity to keep the Pakistani soldier boys in barracks and OFF the hunt.
