Not a nice day but a nice evening!
At the Cowboy Diner in Felton CA I once had the pork chop of a lifetime. It was almost two inches thick, cooked to perfection and had a cranberry/cherry chutney of some sort on the side. It took about 45 minutes for my meal to arrive after I ordered, the waiter told me later it was because the pork chop was so thick. I don't remember what I was drinking, what else I ate or even who my date was that night but I remember that d*mn good pork chop!!!

Yes, one day my boyfriend gave me a pork chop just because he loved me so much. It was one of the most romantic things that he ever did. I saved the bone just so that I could remember what a great guy he is. So now when I get really mad at him all I have to do is look at that little piece pork shrapnel and I remember why I love him so much.......good times, good times.

it is between the main delicious recipes i've got chanced on for beef chops -- have been given it from a pal years in the past who became an authority on cooking with constrained materials (she lived in Labrador). The proportions you utilize relies upon on what number chops you're cooking... dirt the beef chops in flour. upload some oil or a nob of butter to a heated frying pan (medium warmth) and brown the chops, sprinkling salt and pepper on the two aspects. do away with from the burner and tranfer the chops to a baking dish. in case you're cooking a huge type, you could overlap them somewhat. decrease onions and green peppers into long strips and place on the beef (returned, the quantity relies upon on the quantity of meat -- for 2 chops i could use a million/2 of a medium onion and 1 / 4 of a bell pepper). you additionally can upload herbs right now -- prepare dinner's determination. :) Pour canned tomatoes, such because of the fact the juice, over the lot. returned, if that is only 2 chops you won't desire to apply the entire can of tomatoes. you need to use complete or diced tomatoes -- if complete, chop them up somewhat. verify for saltiness -- if no salt has already been added to the tomatoes, that's beneficial to sprinkle some greater on the beef right now. cover with foil or a lid and place in an oven preheated to 350 F. Bake for a competent hour or until meat is soft and springs away truthfully from the bones. do away with the lid for the final quarter-hour of cooking. Serve with rice or potatoes and the vegetable of your determination. Regards, Fainche p.s. while steak is cooked in this variety, that is reported as Swiss Steak. this technique of cooking is in many cases used for harder cuts of steak, like around. the beef is rather stewing in the tomato juice in the oven so it comes out very soft. p.p.s. nit-choosing protection tip from a mom rooster: beef could constantly be cooked until that is nicely performed. uncommon or medium beef isn't edible.
