this isn't a question so I shouldn't be posting this but to all of you "holier than thou" "religious" "hypocrites" out there...
I BET you that "in the end" a lot of homosexuals will make it into heaven before YOU. You're spending all your ENERGY and "good will" focusing on saving the "purity" of marraige between a man and a woman while they(homosexuals, bisexuals) are taking this negativity all in stride and turning it into positive energy. They're helping people, loving people, doing away with their prejudices and "loving thy neighbor" while you are doing one of the main things that your God is against. I honestly believe this.

Amen. But I think what the main issue is that people take religion too seriously. You could also say that some catholics are hypocrites when half their priests have been moved around due to "inappropriate activity". So who are they to judge. I think it's unnatural number one that a priest can't have relations with another person. But I also think it's not right for them to give marriage advice. So yes they're hyprocrites!

That you believe in something shows you have faith. Which is all God asks us to have. It is sad that you believe everyone thinks homosexuals are bad, and evil. We don't all think that. We are all God's children. We are all sinners too. Being evil to homosexuals goes against love thy neighbor does it not? And God does not hold one sin over another.

You'd better watch posting stuff like this! LOL, I just did the same sort of post about another religious topic, and I was reported for abuse of the yahoo system or some kind of junk. Apparently we cannot express our opinions on here, but other people can definately judge and give their opinions when they post unjust answers to our questions!

I have to agree with you there. I am, as are my friends- both gay and straight- Christian. nothing I have ever learned in church/Sunday school growing up ever said it was OK to assume the role of God and pass judgment on others, nor that it was OK to preach hatred and intolerance. there are people, like my friends and family, who are Christians, and then there are those who "use" religion to justify their being bigots. it's quite shameful, really. they are under the illusion that they are somehow righteous, and yet they've earned themselves first-class tickets to hell for being hypocritical sinners!

Thank you for your kind words.
Ever seen a question about the fact that straight people should change?
I guess not.
Let's try to coexist here all together
make the world a better place.
X-mas greetings:Rob.

Listen, I know your angry and you have all the right to express yourself but hear this; The very last thing that Satan said to God was; " I will bind and destroy these humans you love so much, because you love them more than me, they will cease to multiply." Now why do you think we as Christians feel resentment.? Tho God does not, He loves us all but he sturdily states that" Man shall not lay with Man nor Woman with Woman, for my wrath shall cover this earth" Now it makes no difference to most of us what kind of lifestyle you have but be better knowing the Bible than hating it for selfish reasons. I love you also I just don't approve of your lifestyle. God Bless You.

i am a religious person....and do not agree with homosexuality at all. however, i have absolutley nothing against gays at all. i would share a coke with a gay person if he wanted. i am no better than they are...i promise.

that being said, tolerance does not equaly permissiveness. i accept gays...but try not to make me out a hypocrite because i don't agree with and will not condone the lifestyle.
