The line is from Citizen Kane (one of my favorite movies), and refers to Charles Kane's last words on his deathbed. The entire movie is formed around reporters trying to figure out what it was that he was referring to, thinking that it might be a lost love.
Rosebud was the name on the snow sled that he had when he was a child - Kane was a dying man probably reflecting on the lost innocence of his childhood, or perhaps even the later loss of his idealism.
