The kind of gift that doesn't look too cheap, either. I work with at least 7 people I have to buy for, so I have to budget myself. Does a name brand wallet (Express, Gap, etc) seem ok?- I thought so, since the name brand would indicate that it did not come cheap. I don't know what else, since: she doesn't like perfumes, is a huge shopper & loves to spend, & if I can help it- I prefer getting people gifts rather than gift cards. Also, when you're in a situation like mine (at work), what is the proper amt to spend? Thanks!

Wallets and and small clutch purses are really nice gifts. Look in the newpapers for discount coupons to major department stores or maybe look on line for discount passes.

Since you have a lot of people to buy for may be purchasing candies. coffees and teas and a wharehouse store is your best bet. Then go to a nice department store and purchase a xmas cookie jar, bowl or decoration to put in a variety of the xmas candies and coffees in. Wrap with celophane and a nice ribbon.
If you want to spend more how about a classic Christmas movie or music CD in the package. This will make you gifts more standard and avoid "the this is not up to their taste issue"

search: coupon code, gap discount coupons apparel, hot deals, gap store, gap discount coupon codes

or ty any other dept store with the keywords above

It depends on where you work. I would ask some of your closest co-workers how much they spend, but probably not more than $20.

I'm not sure where you live, but here, GAP and EXPRESS doesn't come across as "expensive taste." If it is HER taste, however, go for it. Fossil is another place to get fashionable, inexpensive wallets and coin purses that are a little more interesting that what GAP has. You can find Fossil items online or at stores like Macy's. (www.fossil.com)

Woman love anything in a Sephora box. Find gifts under $25 here:
www.sephora.com. They will wrap anything for you in a nice box or bag. (If you're a guy, though, a nice candle would be more appropriate than a bath or body item.)

She'd probably love a copy of The Devil WEars Prada on DVD, assuming she doesn't have it. (It just came out.)

Well, you could get something small from one of those stores. . . Another option, which I think always goes well, is to give either wine, or some sort of food. Homemade cookies always are nice! I bought great plates at Crate & Barrel and am just going to put some peppermint bark on each, for the other employees. Last year I made biscotti and everyone went crazy for them. I think it shows you put a lot of thought into it.

Here at my company we do a secret Santa. So as we do not have so many people to buy for. A 25 dollar limit is the norm but not set in stone. A nice bottle of wine is always nice even if they do not drink you like to keep some in your home while entertaining during the holiday's. Also I love anything that has to do with pampering yourself.

I have a relative with very expensive taste and this year I went to a store which carries "Brighton" accessories. I bought her a pair of beautiful earrings which I know she'll love for only $16. The store I shop at gift wraps very nice as well.

Food! How about fancy pears or fancy jams? Our French bakery creates the most amazing desserts & breads (aligator, christmas trees, etc.) and sells them for $10-15 or less. How about a small box of beautiful tarts?
