It could be that when the high school sent your transcript, you still had courses in progress if they sent it prior to your graduation. If this is the case, then you simply need to resend another that has your final grades posted and most importantly, your graduation date posted. Until the final grades from all years and also the date of your high school graduation appears on your transcript of record, then you will not be considered as having a high school diploma or be eligible for college admissions.

You need to get in contact with someone at the high school ASAP. The college won't accept any excuses, even if it's not your fault. If they don't have all necessary materials by their deadline, you won't be accepted - period. Call the school or go to the school and be firm - demand (nicely) that your transcripts need to be sent to the college. Whatever mistake occurred doesn't matter right now - you just need to start from scratch and have the transcripts sent again. Trust me, you'll encounter much worse situations once you enroll. Good luck!

You school has messed up something. If you have a completed high school transcript it should not show up. Try calling your school or go in person for an official transcript, then send it or take it personally. Just keep bothering they lay back a lot, don't stop asking. And don't take no for answers. Good luck.

It means they havent processed the transcripts yet. If your guidance counselor sent the transcripts two weeks ago, you have to allow for the fact that it was over the Thanksgiving Holiday. There was one less day of mail delivery, and two fewer days of processing at the college. Give it another week.

there was most probably a mistake with the filing...colleges arent perfect and neither are people who work in the offices...they might have misplaced it, or your file just didn't contain sufficient information....so if i were you i would print that transcript request letter and send it to your high school.

But meanwhile I would email the admissions asap
