For some people, they feel like they are saving the animals. For others, it's a loneliness issue. Still for others, they are "hoarders" which is a psychological condition. If you went into some of their houses, not only would you find a bunch of cats, but you would probably find tons of junk too.

I'm building my collection now (I have five) so that when I get old I can achieve my life's ambition, of having all the local kids call me a witch and smear dog poo on my letterbox...

I only have 5, I take food out to the outside cats, they are ferals and are also a joy. :)

Creepy catladies piss me off. I don't know why they do it - they must need those cats to talk to since no one else cares about how the elevator smelled on their way to work. God, they're so creepy.

I would say because they like the smell of piss all over there carpet and hair all over their clothes look at me I'm peeing right now!
