Heh- my JOB!
I'm an historical interpreter - several time periods, but mainly 1770s through 1900- and people don't realize that it is a serious job, entailing lots of research to present information accurately, including myself in proper period dress. They don't understand that many historical interpreters have several college degrees.
They also have not a clue about handmade wares - even when you make the item right in front of them. They assume that handmade equals poorer quality than factory, and that they should be able to pay Walmart prices for, let's say, alovely hand carved wooden chest that took the maker over 50 hours of intensive labor. And then still undervalues his work just so he can sell it. (I'm not a woodworker, BTW- I'm a milliner)
I've met people who think we're bums - they have not a clue that the tent, clothing, furnishings and wares equal thousands of dollars - they just assume homeless because they see a worn canvas tent of a style they cannot identify.

Art. I love to draw and rather do that than anything really. Most people go out on the weekends or rent movies at home, i rather go to the back porch and listen to music while i draw.I also have an obsession with my animals too. I have 3 dogs, 4 parrots and 1 degu. They are my kids.

I love parrots. Poeple dont understand this mostly because they have never owned own. My birds are each unique and have their own personalities. I have some small all the way up to the big guys. They talk, do tricks and are as loyal as ones children.

My name says it all, but people think of people who cross stitch as little old ladies doing pictures of flowers, and that type of thing. I cross stitch on sweatshirts, everything from Looney Tunes characters to wild animals to dragons, you name it. I'm working on one now that has bobcats on it. I've also done copies of paintings.

people always pull up their eyebrows when heard that i'm a goalkeeper =p ha ha ha,
and also they always seems get crazy when i said i'm in love with racing...
well, they always look at me as truly madly deeply a lady...yes, i am but it's wasn't wrong to have some masculine's stuff inside LOL
