Is the computer actually doing things when you turn it on. Do lights blink, etc??? If not, check the power cord and and socket. Check your fuse box too.
If the computer is booting (You will be able to hear and see something there), then there could be a problem with the video card or the monitor. If your computer isn't booting, check the power cords and try again. Take it to the shop if necessary.
Of the video card and monitor, the easiest to check is the monitor. Borrow someones, and plug it into both the power and the computer. (do this while the computer is off.)
If your borrowed monitor lights up, then it is your monitor that is broken, and should be replaced. It probably isn't worth repairing. If the borrowed monitor isn't working, then it is your video card. A new basic level video card is not that expensive, but if you are not comfortable opening your box, you may wish to have the store put it in.
Note that it is most likely that you have made a mistake with one of your power cords.

Can you hear the computer booting up? Make sure that your monitor is plugged in. If you can hear the computer running, you could have a bad monitor. Try switching monitors before wasting to much time. Any monitor will work to let you know if your Video card is putting anything out even though the picture on the monitor may be somewhat distorted due to a difference is resolution.

You probably have a bad mobo.
But just in case, short pins 14 and 15 on your PS see if it's functional.
Then RMA your board.
