I'm sad alot- it used to be just when I was alone with my thoughts, but lately It's with my family and friends too! I keep on thinking about things I can't do, even though I try really hard not too, and I always seem to find my faults even though I know I should think about the positives- but I can't! I cry at the drop of a hat too- but I think that's just because I cry easily.
And I'm always tired- I heard that's a symtom ._.

You show some of the signs, but the most significant symptom of depression is lack of commitment to things you would normally do without question. Such as not wanting to shower or brush your teeth, simply because you don't see the point. While I don't think you have depression, I think you should find support either from friends or family; even someone you can just talk to would help you. Keep your head up, and maybe things will pass, if not, there is always someone to help you even in the later stages of the condition, so don't worry too much.

The mental state of sadness occuring quite often. The mental state of impatience, and anger. The mental state of irritability, and rude speech toward others. The mental state of lonliness (even for a married person or one who has a boyfriend or girlfriend).
All these (and there are others) mental states are symptoms of depression.
Depression is not simply an emotion it is a mental state, for thinking and emotions can not truly be separated. For example, I may be upset at a person, who is not even in the same room as me. But I have a mental picture of the person before me, and my thoughts are that of
anger, then when that eventually dies down, it changes to the mental state of depression.
