Well, it all depends on all the other planets involved (go to astro.com to find out more info on your planets and signs - it's what I use), but I find that Taurus seems to really get along with Virgo, Gemini, Scorpio or Sagittarius.
Virgo is a fellow earth sign, and as long as they aren't too spazzy, Taurus would find their companionship very enjoyable. You would both, at least, keep very good track of your money lol.
I find that Gemini is a very interesting match because they teach Taurus not to take things so seriously and have fun, while Taurus grounds Gemini and helps them keep track of their money. An opposites attract sort of thing.
Scorpio and Taurus also get along, not only because they are opposite signs, but because, for some reason, they have a calm, cool, peaceful feel when they're together. Unless the Scorpio is too brash, or the Taurus too sedentary, it would make a great match. :)
And Sagittarius because they can help Taurus go places, see new things. As long as Sagittarius doesn't speak too bluntly and hurt Taurus' feelings, it's a great match. At least in friendships.
It all really depends. I wouldn't recommend Leo as much, because while they amuse Taurus and get along most of the time, they can also really make Taurus mad, so watch out. Leo might be too loud for Taurus and disrupt Taurus' peace of mind.
Other signs I'm not too clear on as far as matches go, but I think that's pretty good start. Again, it all depends on a whole lot of other factors, so try not to write anybody off based on their sign since you never know what's out there for you.
