Agreed, pub is full of badly made up schoolgirls who look ridiculous with fake id. I think the adult should steal back the park bench.... right, I'm off to get me cider ha ha ha

Yes I agree in the towns - You need to head into the country to find an old style pub - some very nice ones in Hampshire where I live but you need to drive there - another drawback - you can't have much (any) alcohol !

I thought a decent pub could only be found in the north and many years ago. Until I found The Wheel in Naphill near High Wycombe. We were welcomed in wearing muddy boots and with the dog. Good beer and a friendly welcome, just a shame I live in Germany!

Depends on the area - I'm not much of a fan of pubs down south - they seem a little too stuffy and formal.
I like my little country pubs back oop north, the ones where everyone knows you name... *wanders off singing cheers theme*

My pub tries to cater to all age groups. It's not easy.

no i dont think that.
i wont go im most of my local pubs (the ones within 10mins walk of my flat) as they are full of smoke and pervy old blokes and real ale drinkers.
the ones in the town centers are more for the younger market but they do most of there business on friday and saturday nights

Totally true of cities and towns, you end up having to travel which is not good if you want a drink.
