alright , this is how it goes , yeah semen can be extracted from dead , considering , Semen shouldnt get in contact with atmosphere , or the host should not getting totally decayed... so this is possible i would say , let me put this in a straight way , a dead body like for 5 hrs , in that you can extract the semen and use it for artifical insemination , interesting eh lol.

Its commonly practiced by older men who have younger wives and die before they havea chance to father a child with them. Part of the will states that their semen is to be collected upon their death and stored for the wife.
They use electrodes placed at the base of the testicals to manually cause an ejeculation.
it has to be done within so many minutes of death because sperm are temperature sensitive and cannot survive outside of the range of normal body heat.
Ive never heard of this being performed on dead animals, sedated ones yes, but dead ones no. I imagine its possible thought.

well, what you are asking is not impossible. you have to retrieve sperms from the dead person immediately, before they start dying and keep it in deep freeze like in nitrous flasks or sperm bank where it can be stored for longer periods. it should be processed or washed, which then can be used for artificial insemination. however, in reality it may be very difficult unless the person is dying in a hospital with sperm banking facilities with his intention of storage being made clear in the begining. which brings us to the question as to why wait in such a situation for his death. in case of a dying person if he is not able to ejaculate the doctors can retrieve sperms by putting a small needle in his testis and extracting either mature or immature sperm forms also called spermatids. these spermatids thus extracted can be later used for artificial insemination.

Yes, it can be extracted, frozen and used later on - although it's much easier getting a viable semen sample from a live body.

It has to be done right after within like an hour from what I understand. Then goes to the freezer for later use.
