"Silent Night, Deadly Night" was a movie about a young boy who witnessed his parents murder on Christmas and became a serial killer only around the holidays. I think they made parts 1,2,& 3. I hope this helps.

Not necessarily murder in this case, but in "Gremlins", Phoebe Cate's character is reminded of death at Christmas because her father, trying to play Santa Claus for her when she was little, gets stuck in the chimney, and dies.
