Here is info from Sawzall's website about Model No. 6523-21. This is a corded recip saw that is 13 Amps and also has these features:
360° Rotating Handle
13 Amp Milwaukee Built Motor
Orbital Cutting Action
Variable Speed Trigger, 0-3000 SPM
1-1/4 in. Stroke
Counter Balanced/Gear Protection Systems
Speed Dial
Quik-Lok™ Blade Clamp
Quik-Lok® Cord
I like the 360° rotating handle and the variable speed trigger myself. You can get really fatigued when having to contort yourself to hang on to the tool and trying to find an appropriate speed setting. These two features alone, I think, make this one worth it for someone with pro needs.

I would suggest checking out the Porter-Cable Tiger saw. Has a rotating body feature. A quick-release chuck for changing blades. It is very versatile, has a higher amp motor than some and is priced comparably to the rest. I've had mine for going on 5 years now and I've never had a moment that I wasn't happy that I bought it. All carpenters will agree that a sawzall is an integral tool to their trade. Don't skimp on tools if you make your living with them. You can pay more, but why? Lowe's carries the Porter-Cable saw. Good Luck.

go with the milwaukee, i've had mine for years with no problems. if i were to buy a new one their model with the single pole to the guard plate is nice. make sure it is variable speed and has the cord disconnect, then he can get the 25' cord that just plugs in. it comes with an 8' cord. sorry i can't help with shopping for best price, just best tool. milwaukee's 18 volt cordless tools are also great tools, glad i bought them after the others that i've had. just thought i'd pass that one on for next year!! merry christmas, rick.

Milwaulkee makes very good power tools. Their heavy duty sawzall is what he needs for professional work. If you realy want to impress him ,buy him a Bosch.

Sounds like you're doing good, but I'd suggest getting a battery operated one - a cord gets in the way, and with a sawsall, the whole point is it's handiness and convenience. The batteries last a long time, and you would probably want to buy an extra one so he always has a charged backup.

Check the pawn shops in your area. They often have a large variety of power tools at a good price. I would take him with you and let him pick out the one he prefers.

believe or expectancies are consistently confining. yet what's society, besides, yet a set of "normalized" instruments of habit desperate upon by ability of a few team of people or some chief(s). This technique helps the possibility of needed outcomes by ability of the guy contributors and stabilizes the custom this is, to an spectacular quantity, discovered as "monkey see, monkey do". Labeling believe as a weapon or no longer is an own emotional characterizational reaction. this is that this is. we are born with innate unconscious sub-workouts that furnish the mandatory grease between us so as that we don't smash one yet another. hundreds of hundreds of years of Evolution has assured that the uncooperative ones interior the tribe the place excluded or killed. consistent with danger, the neanderthal tribe exiled somebody in basic terms such as you. You controlled to stay to tell the story in a sparkling region, get a mate and your infants began the "new" homo-sapien race. thank you for no longer being satisfied with the neanderthal "normalized" instruments of expectancies and commencing the popular race! although, why no longer use it as a ability to in spite of the fact that "end" that looks maximum statistically valuable to that team of people? The action picture "infants of adult adult males" helped me understand that continuance is the main "end" for American selection making. each thing from regulations to a minimum of a few thing so straightforward as universal conversations contain a sprint of doing the main surprising element for the betterment of the individuals. What in case you woke up the following day and no person everywhere would desire to ever have infants returned? Continuance for the human race ends taking off to the following day? Who is conscious? How could this transformation expectancies/society? could you nonetheless recycle? could you self-sacrifice by ability of keeping down a activity or for that be counted, make a contribution to society in any respect? The investment that we entrust in direction of the following day's human race is gigantically important ! believe in that.
