Clarina is my daughter's name. It has never been in the top 1000 names given. It is also a species of butterfly and a village in Ireland. I found that out after I named her. My niece's name is Jaspen Rose. I also like the name Arabella and it is pretty uncommon. Melrose is pretty as a name. I saw it in a TV show. The girls name was Melissa Rose but she went by Melrose. If you want a truly unique name try this tool and see what you can come up with. http://www.keepkidshealthy.com/newborn/newname.html

Katherine is a very elegant but not so unique name, why do you want to saddle your girl with a unique name? Give her a respectable one.....and she will be respected.

In Feb. of this year, we got the shock of our lives! Not only was I pregnant, but I was over 20 weeks along, I thought it was menopause!! Anyway she got here in July! We took the names of her grandpas, and named her Charlyann Morrista. Charlie from his dad, Morris from mine, both are deceased. Ann came from my sister who passed away when I was 13. And my younger sister suggested spelling Charly with the "y". It's just a thought, but you could do the same with people you love.
Good luck & HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
