We are not the right beings to decide this.
Human beings' activities account for more than 60% of toxic emissions.
If you really care, then get rid of the following:
METHANOL
AMMONIA
N-HEXANE
SULFURIC ACID
HYDROGEN SULFIDE
HYDROCHLORIC ACID
TOLUENE
XYLENE
ACETALDEHYDE
METHYL ETHYL KETONE
In simple words, stop using refrigerators, microwave ovens, vehicles, satellites and makeup items that contain any of the above hazardous chemicals.

Yes
Cows make up a very large percentage of our diet - and also account for a lot of the money floating around in the stock exchange and market place in general.
Think..
How much money is spent on Milk ? Chocolate? other dairy products, Beef etc etc.
The silly stinky creatures are a needed source for many products and commodities .. to get rid of them would leave some serious wholes in our economic structure.

And what about the gasses you release?
The cow is a creature of this world just as man is.
The only exception is that man takes more than its share.
Man is greedy.
Just imagine there was a superior being on this planet and we were treated like animals.
No right of having a family.
No right of property ownership.
Being property of others.
Used to do their jobs without pay.
No hospitals..and on and on and on.....
So what the F... for the gas they emit?

Let's see.....Milk, butter, cheese, sour cream, yogurt, whip cream,
cream cheese, steak. Yes, our world is a better place because of the contribution cows make. Perhaps we humans could cut down on our emmisions making the world a safer place for cows! :)

If I could personally eat six cows by January 2008. Then I could buy the new Audi Q7 with the 5.9 litre diesel engine and on balance would be doing the enviroment good! Anyone want to sponsor me?

YES! They make good beef roasts and steaks ! In fact I'm going to dine on roast, carrots and potatoes this weekend. It's the only good meal I get once a week. I also go through about 5 gallons of milk a week, so lets keep the beef!

Yes but they feed over 95% of the worlds population. Which would you rather: breath less cow fart (bear in mind that you're own rear produces some rather foul toxins as well) or give up all beef products?

We need them for the "moo". However, cow farts are a major source of methane emissions on the planet.
If you want to get technical, fir trees in the Rocky Mountains account for a HUGE percentage of hydrocarbon emissions, so by all rights these trees should be eliminated to remove this horrible source of air pollution.

Not only do their farts damage the environment, abattoirs use a lot of water to wash away blood and other cow juice during slaughtering.
