Frank Lampard was rank 2nd best after Ronaldinho in the FIFA World Best Player of The Year....So it's Frank Lampard's fault...There's was nothing wrong with Frank Lampard. He wasn't injured at all.
Rooney wasn't 100% fit to play the first match he played for England in the world cup...

Yes. I agree that Martin Kelly should be in the England squad when fully fit as I think he's better than Johnson. But, Capello doesn't know what he's doing. Not only is there a need for young players but also players with experience! Such as Beckham, Lampard, Gerrard, Owen! All are still good and can help the young players come through! But there are a few players in the U21s that could definitely come through - Kelly, Sturridge, Richards. Maybe even Welbeck and Rose. The rest are not as good as what is currently in the team. England: -Hart, Foster, Green -Cole, Cahill, Terry, Baines, Kelly, Richards, Dawson, Ferdinand, johnson, Lescott= But only because of his amazing accidental header!!) -Young, Beckham, Lampard, Gerrard, Walcott, Downing, Parker, Wilshere, Josh McEachran, Welbeck. -Rooney, Carroll, Sturridge, Owen, Crouch, Bent, Rose. Manager - Redknapp ENGLAND 30 MAN SQUAD

I'll elavuate each person
David Beckham- Becks didi what he ahd to do. They were just looking for an easy target as to why England sucked so badly. It was Beckham's cross that give them the goal in the game vs. Trinidad in the 83th min. That game would have ended in a draw. So it's not his fault.
Rooney- was injured. Besides you can't have one man carrying a whole team. It was his first World Cup. He didn't deserve the amount or pressure put on him.
Frank Lampard- DIdn't score a goal, didn't set up one. I don't think he was to blame but he contributed the least of the three.

Frank Lampard did not live up to his potential in the WC. He took so many shots, but he missed them all. I was a bit disappointed in the way he played because I was expecting so much more from him. I think he's a terrific player at his best, but I don't think he shows his full potential.

i accused the manager to take responsible in this case, i don't know what he did during few years??? maybe he's been too busy with all the scandals...well, for heaven's sake he's a manager of a national team....
The 3 palyers you gave us...were facing almost same problem, they rushes and sometimes not too patient...in football sometimes patient is a great thing to do, if you didn't have it much...be ready to screw out everything...
I should give thumbs up to Becks because he'd growing so good this lately, he act so adult and control his emotions very well, sadly he;s not the skiper anymore...

No one player can't be blamed for their performance at the WC. Sometimes tournaments just go wrong. What toonmili said is right. We as supporters put an undue amount of pressure on our teams and players and look for scapegoats when things go awry.
