I think ego gets in the way of actually making something original and worthwhile.
So called directors........... whats the point if they all make the same video every time!!!

"Hip hop & rap is immoral to women" Get a grip! This stuff has been around for yonks. We dont moan when women get given privilages for being female. Get your boobs half out and all of a sudden you get free drinks or free entry to a club etc.
Also, i guess no women artist has ever gotten steroid pumping, half naked guys in their videos..... Oh dear!
The reason the videos are made like that is coz most rappers or hip hop artists come from trailor parks and they now have the money to do what they want. Thats life, some buy bling & cars, other build houses and swimmingpools in Spain!

yeah yeah yaeh blah blah blah and so is rock and that metal garbage all they do is teach children on how to shoot heroin up thier arms and when they go into thier trailer after screaming on top of thier lungs and making non-sense music and you wanna call that music huh i dont think so so hands down rock and metal music is a disgrace as a music genre and its definitely not music

Hey! watch it, bub. lol I like the dancing, but you bring up a very interesting point. I like rock videos like those from Evanescence and Nickleback. Savin Me by Nickleback should win an award!!! It was like a mini movie!!

They are the same, because the people who watch them all want the same mindless crap. It's basically softcore porn, all done to inflate these performers' egos. I still can't believe how many girls are ok with those videos when they totally make them into sex objects.

I haven't seen a hip hop video for ages. When people don't have any money they are more creative, but as soon as the money comes rolling in they get fat and lazy and power mad and 'lose it'.

Unfortunately, that's what sells. I personally think the general listening public doesn't know what good music is..Nowadays it's about a catchy hook,and what will make little tweens spend their disposable income. That's just one guy's opinion.

hip hop and rap is immoral and degrading to women. it is getting ridiculous that they can talk the way they want about women and just how they view life in general. it makes me really upset when i hear what they talk about. they are so materialistic and i think that "music" like that shouldnt be allowed to be made. It is making children who listen to it think its ok to call mommy and sisy a ****, hoe, whore what ever they want and its unacceptable
