It is cruel to put people in catagories... jsut because someone acts a certian way doesn't mean you can judge them. It isn't right or fair... If you aren't poplular then what are you? You are who you are and being popular shouldn't matter. Preps are gay? Not so much gay as they think they own you and that you are scum on their shoes but I wouldn't worry to much about them...when you get older it will all be different, they will have a bad life and you will have a house, car, job, and spouse you can't live with out....Its nothing so just try to get through school right now! Goodest Of Luck!!

No, it is not fair. But that's how it is in high school. Once you're out things will be different. You will go into higher education and pursue your interests. It is likely you will find others in your field of study who are at least interested in one similar thing to you! Believe me, it helps.
People are not into these games once they are out of high school because they need to get serious about what they're going to do with their lives.
You will have more choice about who you hang out with and where you spend your time. In school, you are told where to go every day and you just have to put up with whoever else is there. Things change drastically once you're given a choice!
Just hang in there and remember that this is not forever! good luck!

Yes it's only fair ..I wouldn't want to be in the same category with some of the people..like killers ..thieves ...
pervs ..gays..they should be at least 4/5 categories ...
keep every one in the proper order

i dont think its really ok to cateogarise people ,but i also think in any sort of communal situation its bound to happen, not just at school but in the workplace and generally throughout life
whether u judge on clothing/music/education/accent/race/popularity etc its always going to happen and i guess its just a natural way of framing someone before you know them,
i wouldnt be too worried about cateogarising youself- is there such a need to live up to everyone elses expectations?

Ahhh the school memories. Don't worry I had 'groups' in my school as well. So I didn't hang with anyone lol I became a loner. Don't worry it's not that bad after school.

It is logical although not considered politically correct. Most of those opposed to it however do it themselves as a matter of common sense and personal survival.

in my opinion everyone is different in their own way. It may be hard to see but if you get to know them, you'll find out they have their own little characteristics that no one else has :)
